This page does not have the role to list all the possible accessories for Panasonic FZ-30.
Nevertheless the most usual accessories are presented here for information purposes.

To find these accessories it is sometimes necessary to seek on foreign sites, while looking on sites of auction sale.

A filter UV or neutral is essential in order to protect the objective from the camera. The plane surface of a filter is easier to wipe than the convex surface of the objective. Moreover it is preferable to have stripes on a filter that on the objective of the camera. The filter will thus protect the objective from dust, pollen (into macro) or even from the water drops at the time of a downpour.
A filter UV in order to protect the objective |
One can regret with certain filters the narrowness of the ring which does not make it possible the stopper to correctly close. |
Many filters exist, filter UV as we could see it like protection, there exists also the polarizing filter to quote only the most usual filters. But there are creative filters and the Cokin system is one of the most interesting systems of share the possibilities offered but also because one can find some easily on occasion.
The system of Cokin filters is simple and clever |

In order to be able to aim various types of optical complements or filters, it is necessary to get rings of conversion. A ring of conversion is identified using 2 numbers. These 2 numbers correspond respectively to the diameter of threading of the objective of the camera (55mm for Pansonic FZ-30) and to the diameter threading of the optical complement. For example to aim at an optical complement (filter, cap...) of 58mm of diameter one will take a ring of conversion 55mm/58mm. |

The remote control Panasonic DMW-RS1 (cf instruction manual p122) makes it possible to take photographs on tripod or with the camera posed without making move at the time of the pressure on the button release. Very useful for photographs of night without having to use the retarder. |

In order to push even further the capacities from the zoom of Fz30 one can associate a teleconvertissor to him. The multiplying factor of the focal distance is in general 1,5 or 1,7 (the optical complements having multiplying factors more extremely are likely to give results of bad qualities). |
|
The Tele Conversion lens Nikon TC-E15ED (1,5x) has the advantage of being of excellent quality, it is light and one can find it very occassion at prices sympathetic nerves. The only disadvantage of Nikon TC-E15ED it is its threading of 50mm of diameter, it is not easy to find a ring of adaptation 55mm/50mm. |

The converter great angle in general makes it possible to have a smaller focal distance with a multiplying factor of 0,8 or 0,7. With such a converter the equivalent focal distance is 28 or 24,5mm. Panasonic proposes also a converter great angle (it is the DMW-LW55) but for less low price one can find certain converters of quality like imposing Olympus WCON-08B. |
